To help take the Poseidon Plastic Tracking System global and continue this vital work, please consider supporting our campaign. With your help, we can protect our oceans and communities from the impact of plastic pollution.

The Webinar
Plastic pollution is choking our oceans—threatening marine life, human health, and entire ecosystems. According to the Ocean Conservancy, 11 million metric tons of plastic enter our oceans every year, breaking down into harmful microplastics that infiltrate every level of the food chain—and have even been found in our hearts and brains.

We are leading a global initiative with the Poseidon Plastic Tracking System, an advanced solution that identifies and maps plastic contamination in oceans and waterways using satellite imagery, AI/ML techniques, and geospatial visualization. This system goes further by analyzing the health impacts of plastic contamination—both current and future—on vulnerable communities. Join us for this virtual event to learn more and support our mission to combat plastic pollution and its health consequences.

About the Poseidon Plastic Tracking System

The Poseidon Plastic Tracking System leverages advanced geospatial AI and satellite and synthetic data to identify, track, and assess the health impacts of plastic pollution across oceans and coastal areas. Poseidon provides actionable insights for governments, environmental organizations, and communities to mitigate plastic contamination at its source.

A Proven Solution with Global Reach

-
Initial Funding: Supported by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)
-
Demonstrated Success: Successfully piloted in the Foxe River Basin in the Canadian Arctic, where it identified and tracked plastic contamination in challenging environments.
-
Going Global: With proven results, Poseidon is now expanding worldwide to monitor plastic contamination and provide data-driven solutions for ocean health.

Poseidon represents cutting-Edge technology for addressing a global public health challenge. For additional information, please see our blog and pilot case study.
