Ram Peruvemba, HSR CMO, Recognized for his Contributions to Public Health

MedChi, the Maryland State Medical Society, has named Dr. Ram Peruvemba, our Chief Medical Officer, a 2017 Distinguished Council Chair Award for his outstanding dedication of time and talents on behalf of Maryland’s physicians, their patients, and the public health.

We congratulate Ram for this award and join MedChi to recognize Ram’s tireless efforts and dedication to population health which we are privileged to see through his leadership to our research efforts here at HSR, such as our efforts to identify solutions to the Opioid Epidemic.

The award was presented during the MedChi House of Delegates meeting on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m at the Hotel at Arundel Preserve located at 7795 Arundel Mills Boulevard, Hanover, MD 21076.

In addition to his role at HSR, Ram maintains his private practice and is a board-certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management physician.
