Announcing New Board Member

We are proud to announce that Luis Bermudez, Ph.D., Executive Director for Innovation Programs at the Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), has accepted a position on Health Solutions Research, Inc.’s Board of Advisors! Luis is a recognized expert in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and through his position at the OGC, where he plays a key role in their Health Domain Working Group, influences open data standards for geospatial applications.

Luis will Help HSR Advance the GeoHealth Dashboard

Luis will bring his insights into GIS systems and their practical applications to health to lead the continued development of the GeoHealth Dashboard.

Early this week, Luis presented Addressing Health Challenges Through Spatial Analytics Using Geospatial Open Standards at the Machine Learning & AI in Healthcare conference in Boston. Our CEO, Ajay K. Gupta, Chaired the event, and our Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ram Peruvemba, spoke on leveraging the GeoHealth Dashboard to develop solutions to the opioid epidemic.
