HSR Wins Export MD Grant

We are proud to announce that we’ve been invited to join the State of Maryland’s official delegation to the Arab Health Exhibition and Congress 2019,taking place from January 28th – 31st, 2019 at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates. Arab Health is the premier healthcare industry trade show for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and we are delighted to be a part of the event. This effort will be our first overseas venture and marks continued growth in demand for our novel approach to health data analytics.

In addition, we’ve been awarded the State’s coveted ExportMD grant supporting formal export development and logistics support form both the International Investment and Trade Office at the Maryland Department of Commerce as well as the US Commercial Service within the International Trade Administration of the US Commerce Department.

At Arab Health

At Arab Health, we will showcase their GeoHealth Dashboard, which is its novel and innovative geospatial health data analytic platform. They will demonstrate how the GeoHealth Dashboard merges health and non-health datato aid long term planning for health systems as well as risk stratify patient for adverse health outcomes. Through our approach, we can objectively risk stratify patients for risk of, for example, opioid addiction, diversion, or overdose in the next 12 months.

In preparation for Arab Health, HSR has conducted research to identify the specific drivers of health outcomes in the MENA region as well as how the GeoHealth Dashboard can model these drivers to anticipate future health needs.  For example, we can estimate and predict the impact on health outcomes from shifts in land use towards urbanization to enable health ministries and planning organizations to prepare for those impacts.Results of HSR’s research will be displayed in their booth at Arab Health.
